Mesa Veterans Parade Asssociation is working feverishly on getting the parade together for this year. We have a few new items that will be introduced in this parade while preserving the traditional integrity of the event. We may have "FLOATS" competition this year if our parade entries can find the where-withall in the remaining days. There will be a better organized and available downtown activities for folks who want to see and do after the parade.

Our planning meetings have now moved up to every other Monday evening at 6:00pm at the Mesa Veterans of Foriegn Wars post 1760, located 1st Ave, at Mcdonald St. The next meeting is August 24. If you would like to help us out or you have some ideas you want put forward; Come ON Down! Everybody is welcome.

Pencil us into your calendar and stop in at the meeting, you may be the one who brings magic to our parade.

The purpose of our group is to ensure that we continue to have a public parade and display of our gratitude for either the opportunity to defend our Constitution or acknowledge those who did. That said; Good for us!

To everyone who looks at this website please be advised that our membership is open to everyone who is a supporter of our purpose. We welcome all comments and suggestions for continuing and/or improving our goals.

During the upcoming year and the parade for 2009 I will post blogs here to disseminate any new info as it comes out of our monthly meetings ( which by the way you are welcome to attend)
